GAZE Film Festival
From its modest origins as a monthly cinema club in the meeting room of the Irish Film Institute.
"The Dublin Lesbian and Gay Film Club was established in 1992. It aims are to diversify cinematice culture in Ireland and to establish a social and cultural forum where people with an interest in issuess of gay indentity and their relationship to cinema can come together."
YOR founded and directed this club and later with Kevin Sexton, founded and co directed the festival between 1992 - 1999 , also led its revamping as GAZE and moved to Dublins LightHouse cinema. between 2007 - 2010. In 2022 Kevin and Yvonne were presented with a prestigious Vanguard Award for their work on this festival.
